Some shedding is expected. Blot spills promptly with a clean white cloth or sponge. Have the rug professionally cleaned when needed. Use a suitable rug pad for grip, cushioning and protection. Vacuum on low power without a beater bar, or with the bar fully raised. Work along the rug’s length, then turn and repeat; avoid back-and-forth strokes.
