The Ideal Candidate

The Warehouse Associate is a key part of the Rug & Weave team and overall customer experience. They are a dedicated team member that thrives in a physically demanding role. The incumbent operates in a safe and efficient manner, is detail oriented and a committed team member.

The Day-to-Day

• Receive incoming shipments
• Manage the organization of the warehouse
• Facilitate transfer of products between warehouse and the retail store
• Assist with inventory counts
• Assist with product pulls for photography
• Communicate and work collaboratively with colleagues
• Prioritize and take initiative to complete tasks
• Carry out other tasks as directed by management
• Support with order fulfillment/shipping as needed
• The Warehouse Associate will report to Warehouse Manager 

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience and/or training in a warehouse environment, WHMIS, and lifting techniques preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 75lbs of product repetitively
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and in an organized manner, and to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• An approachable, friendly, and inclusive personality that promotes a comfortable environment

Hours

The Warehouse Associate will work 15-20 hours per week and be available for shifts scheduled Monday through Friday between the hours of 9am to 5pm.
